Eriyadu Island Resort, North Male Atoll.
A very welcoming and laid-back island which perfectly reflects the
'real' Maldives. Eriyadu is a small, natural resort with an excellent
house reef and boasts one of the best diving sites in the north Male
atoll.
Number of rooms 60
Conveniently located about 45 minutes by speedboat from Male airport on
the northwest side of the North Male atoll
A very natural teardrop shaped island, Eriyadu is one of the smaller and
more relaxed resorts in the Maldives, which offers a welcoming 'no news
no shoes' typical Maldives experience. One side of the island has a
house reef closeby which is excellent for snorkelling and diving, and
all around the island is surrounded by pure white sandy beaches and lush
vegetation.

What our clients say…
This resort lives up to the Maldives reputation for absolute refinement
and escapism. We left our speedboat, walked towards reception along a
long jetty over a crystal clear sea and knew we had chosen the right
hotel.
Our beach villa was yards from the beach and although we were told the
room had been refurbished about seven years ago, was still as new. There
was air conditioning, a mini bar and good selection of tables and chairs
and a view over the sea I shall never forget. We even had an outside
shower which was bliss on a hot night.
The beach was something else, powdery white clean sand. Sun loungers
even had our room number on them so there is no squabbling or early
morning scrambles to get the available loungers!.
It was not important to us, but there was no entertainment in the
evenings- but to hear the waves lapping as you drink a cocktail at the
bar is hard to beat. They play music in the bar but don’t expect too
much.
The food in the resort was wonderful with a large selection of dishes
mainly set out on a buffet.
We shall return to Eriyadu, hopefully for two weeks next time. Pleased
to leave the first review of this lovely place.
