Medhufushi Island Resort

A Deluxe resort, completely rebuilt and opened on Janunary 15 2007 is the island of Medhufushi, which lies about 40 minutes by seaplane from Male in the less developed Meemu atoll.

Accommodation comprises:-

Beach Villa Villa has a king size bed or twin beds, wooden floors and deck. Bathrooms are part open air with outdoor shower

Beach Villa Suite Villa suite has 2 bed rooms, one with a king size bed and one with twin bed with a central part open air sitting area. Each unit has its own semi open-air bathroom with open shower and bathtub.

Water Villa Built on stilts over the lagoon. These are detached and bedroom has either king size bed,or twin beds.Private enclosed bathrooms.Private wooden deck area with wooden sunbeds and a Maldivian swing

Description: The name "Mandara" comes from an ancient Sanskrit legend about the gods' quest to find the elixir of immortality and eternal youth. Mandara Spa has embraced this legend. Mandara Spa offers a variety of treatments that vary based on the individual locations of the spas. The menus are designed to incorporate treatments that are one-third Balinese, one-third traditional and classic, and one-third that is indigenous or native to the land in which the spas are located.
